Bremen offers HanseCamping, a 5-star campsite with 153 pitches located at Hochschulring. From here, you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes by bike or public transport. The site borders the 28-hectare Stadtwaldsee (Uni-See), featuring multiple beaches for swimming and water sports like surfing and diving. Behind the lake, the Stadtwald is perfect for walks or jogging. There’s also a playground for children. Together with the adjacent Bürgerpark, this area forms Bremen's green lung, stretching almost to the city-center-near Hauptbahnhof.
The motorhome parking area at Kuhhirten is located on Stadtwerder along the Weser River. The access road is quiet near the site, making it a peaceful spot. From this well-equipped, tree-shaded area, you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes by bike. A small beach for swimming is nearby, and if you cycle a bit further, you’ll find great swimming spots at Werdersee, on the opposite side of the river peninsula.
